HP-M 5000 PULVERISING MILL
 
 
 
This grinding mill is suitable for the pulverisation of geological samples like exploration samples, drill core samples, blast hole samples and ore concentrates for further sample preparation. The machine is especially designed for robot access.

The sample material, up to 5 kg or 5 litres with a maximum particle size of 10 mm, loaded in a sample bucket, will be placed onto a sample input position in front of the machine.The ground material is discharged by an outlet hose into the bucket inside of the machine. The bucket is transported to the input position.

The machine is controlled by a PLC. The operating parameters, such as grinding time, cleaning time, etc. can be preselected on the integrated control panel.

The sequences of a programme started are:
  • Monitoring of the sample weight by an integrated balance (option)
  • Lifting and discharging of the sample into the grinding vessel
  • Pulverising of the sample material with a pre-selected grinding time
  • Splitting of the ground sample material during output (option)
  • Discharging of the pulverised material back into the transport bucket
  • Rechecking the weight of the material (option)
  • Transfer of the sample bucket to the input position for further handling
  • Cleaning of the grinding vessel with compressed air

    After each grinding cycle the grinding system is cleaned by compressed air. An external dust extracting unit is required to remove waste material. This facility can be supplied as an option. The machine is totally enclosed, sound insulated and requires a minimum of operator’s time and maintenance.
